Animalia
Main Regions of Naturia
Animalia is a world very similar to the human one. Its architecture and technology are almost identical, to the point that mobile phones can function in both worlds if properly configured to connect to the communication towers.
It is inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, meaning beings that are half human and half animal. In addition, normal animals also exist.
Unlike the human world, the inhabitants of Animalia are aware that another world exists.
However, it hides great secrets that not even the President of Naturia knows.
There is only one portal between the two worlds, located in the capital of Naturia: Valdora.
Animalia is divided into three continents, with the central one known as Naturia.
Main Regions of Naturia
- Valdora: The capital city of Naturia and the main setting of the story. It stretches along a vast coastline and enjoys a temperate climate, considered one of the best on the continent, surpassed only by Arvella. As the capital, it features extensive infrastructure and well-developed urban areas. Its tallest buildings do not exceed 20 stories, and the streets harmoniously blend urban design with nature: trees, plants, flowers, and vines intertwine with pavement and sidewalks.
However, behind its orderly and modern appearance, Valdora is known for its high crime rate, especially due to La Familia, the most powerful criminal organization on the continent.
Nivaryn: A vast and remote forest located in northern Naturia, between Lycaria and the frozen region of Cryon. Its climate is extremely cold and harsh, with long winters and short, cool summers. Nature dominates completely: tall, dense, ancient trees cover much of the territory, frozen lakes and rivers wind through the vegetation, and wildlife has adapted to the extreme conditions.
Due to its isolation and severe climate, Nivaryn has remained almost untouched by the inhabitants of Naturia. Very few people venture to live here, and those who do must learn to survive alongside the cold and the wilderness. The forest is known both for its breathtaking beauty and its latent danger. Walking among its trees can be a challenge even for the most experienced inhabitants.
Lycaria: A region dominated by wolf tribes, considered one of the least civilized areas in all of Animalia. Despite its proximity to Nivaryn, its climate is not as cold or inhospitable, and untamed nature prevails entirely. The region lacks infrastructure; its inhabitants live in small huts made of clay and straw, usually near rivers, their main and almost only source of water. Few tribes practice agriculture, so their diet relies primarily on hunting and gathering. Few outsiders venture into this territory, as some tribes react hostilely toward intruders.
Cryon: A frozen and mysterious region of Naturia, about which very little is known. Ships rarely approach its shores due to its dangerous waters and extreme climate. It is known that some researchers reside there, although rumors suggest they must spend most of their time confined within special facilities. Outdoor temperatures are so extreme that even Animalia’s inhabitants with the thickest fur risk freezing to death within minutes.
Vesalia: A peninsula located at the southernmost tip of Naturia, famous for being a major tourist destination. Its climate varies significantly from north to south: in the north, pleasant warmth predominates, ideal for beaches and swimming pools, while in the south temperatures drop below freezing, offering snowy landscapes perfect for skiing, ice skating, and other winter sports. Tourists often travel from north to south to experience both climates in a single trip.
Emblem of Naturia
The emblem of Naturia depicts majestic wings with an eye at the center. This emblem references the god Ikaris, a bird who created the world of Animalia. The eye represents divine vigilance.
